When Misha was a pup it was hard to get her sitting still for any length of time unless she was just waking up or about to go to sleep. Her she is in one of her rare contemplative moments.
Misha at nine months cuddled up on my bed. She has that habit of sitting down just where I’ve been sitting whether I want her there or not – and she always looks really happy about it too … Isn’t her shaggy face adorable? Or is it just me?
It’s pretty hard to get a front on picture of Misha these days without her running up to the camera and sticking her face in it. She’s a real clown, and posing isn’t enough. Maybe I’ve taken too many pictures? Anyway, here she’s practicing the command “stay” and doing quite well for a few seconds.
A nice shot of Misha at 10 months. Her tail has lovely long two-toned hair now, and the two-tone colouring is also on her back, ears, and top of the head. Lots of her coat is lovely and silky soft, a real delight to touch. Having such long hair on her legs makes her look a bit like a bear …
Misha at 7 months with her favourite toy of the time – she played and played with this thing until she started cracking bits of rubber off it and I had to throw it out. Well worth the investment, this toy.
Sorry about the poor quality of the photo, but I had to put this up. It was so exciting being covered in black gunk that Misha couldn’t stay still long enough for a good photo. I’ve never seen her this excited – and her mum did the same. They were the only 2 out of 6 dogs to do this. …
Misha has spent a good few months learning the in’s and out’s of playing fetch – plenty of practice required, and a good colourful ball helps. It would be better if there wasn’t so much competition but what’s a girl to do?
So, once you have the hole, what do you do with it? Sit in it!! And your mum bombards you with rush attacks, the most awesome beach game ever.
Misha – surprise surprise – likes digging holes at the beach!! If I don’t take her to the beach often enough, she digs holes in the lawn. Life is easy when you’re 4 months old and have so many options.
Misha was unfortunate in that I managed to find an ugly crocketed blanket for her to snuggle up with in the winter, just like her mum’s one. At this age all she wants to do is chew it, but winter is coming …
